Frisians were named after their home, the Dutch Friesland, and are one of the oldest horse breeds in Europe. They have a characteristic black coloured coat, a magnificent mane and a pretty tail. The long hair of its mane flows luxuriantly over its back as it canters along. The proud Friesian Stallion is black as night and, with his stately size, he draws admiring looks wherever he goes. He looks especially proud out in the pasture with his cute Friesian Foal (sold separately). This big, strong horse is gentleness personified and very reliable. The Friesian Stallion prefers to stay close to people he can trust.
