The Tinker has a beautiful piebald coat, a magnificent mane, a full tail and lots of hair on the fetlocks.

In the Tinker are the mighty Shire horse, the powerful Clydesdale, the majestic Friesian and the sure-footed Dales Pony. They should be absolutely gentle and reliable. To date, the Tinker is known and loved for these characteristics. It is therefore often used as a therapy horse.
